Hear David Brile's story of courage and perseverance in fighting tobacco's life-threatening consequences.
More than 400,000 Americans die every year due to tobacco related causes. Although he has faced many battles because of his personal tobacco addiction, David Briles considers himself fortunate to have survived his struggles.
After years of smoking and using spit tobacco, in 1994, David was diagnosed with throat cancer. His voice box was removed, and now he breathes from a hole in his throat.
However, David's handicap doesn't stop him from speaking out about the dangers of tobacco use and how it has changed his life. He hopes to enlighten as many tobacoo users as he can in an effort to inspire and strengthen them to quit their tobacco addiction before it's too late.
